ZUMBA® GOLD​

If you like cardio but don’t like any jump or crazy moves, this class is for you, people with bad knees can enjoy this class as is all kind of oldies songs, even is a low impact class you got a lot of sweat and burn a lot of calories.  The routines featured are easy to follow.

SENIOR LATIN DANCE AEROBICS

A very low impact aerobic class designed with special consideration for the senior population, and includes cardiovascular, flexibility, and strengthening segments that may be performed standing or in a seated position.

​

Equipment for this class:

No equipment needed.  You can also do this class seated in a chair.

TAI-CHI

This is a gentle exercise that helps seniors improve balance and prevent falls. It consists of making slow, graceful movements while breathing deeply.

AQUA ZUMBA

Structured like a standard Zumba class, Aqua Zumba entails dancing to motivational music with unique dance moves and combinations—except it's in water.  As water creates natural resistance, each step or dance move is more challenging and helps with muscle-toning and cardio-conditioning.

This class is offered according to season at Brisbane Community Pool.  Registration is required for this class.

CHAIR CONDITIONING

All the basics of lifting, cardio, flexibility and abs for 50 + adults.  No high intensity in this class!  This low impact, joint friendly class will help you build muscle mass, reduce fat and increase flexibility.  This class involves a chair as a tool balance and also for sitting for people with longterm injuries or who can not stand up.  The class is designed to increase flexibility, joint stability, balance, coordination, agility, and muscular strength.

Chair, Medium towel, a pair or small weights or two water bottles
